Plowshares’ Drive-Thru Lasagna Dinner fundraising event for Meals-on-Wheels is on Saturday, May 22nd, from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm at Plowshares.

Drive-Thru during your meal pick-up time to grab a delicious homemade lasagna dinner! Lasagna dinner includes lasagna, salad, garlic bread, and dessert for four people. Please select your meal pick-up time from the following times: 4:00-5:00 pm, 5:00-6:00 pm, or 6:00-7:00 pm.

The Lasagna Dinner fundraiser event is dedicated to supporting our Meals-on-Wheels program, which delivers 140 daily free, hot, freshly prepared meals to the homes of disabled, home-bound seniors. We provide meals to these seniors seven days a week, for a total of over 50,000 a year!

And the value of Meals-on-Wheels goes far beyond the nutritious food we supply. Daily visits from our friendly volunteers are sometimes the only human contact the seniors receive during the day. Some of them have told us, “You’re the reason I get up and get dressed each morning!” or “I don’t know how I’d get by without your help!”

Plowshares does not charge for this service and relies on community support to keep this program going. A $65 ticket will help us do just that!
