Join us for Plowshares' signature fundraising event! Drive through to pick up a delicious tri-tip dinner for two, complete with homemade soup, salad, Dave's famous rolls, dessert, local beer or wine, and a beautiful handcrafted bowl from a local artist.

One handcrafted ceramic bowl created by local artists (including featured pieces from Jan Hoyman Studio and the Mendocino College Ceramics Club)
A hearty tri-tip dinner for two complete with homemade zesty minestrone soup, fresh green salad, Dave’s rolls, delicious dessert, and your choice of local beer or wine (Vegetarian option available)

The annual Empty Bowls dinner is our signature fundraising event, bringing our community together for 20 years of nourishment, compassion, and support.

As a community-supported organization, Plowshares relies on the generosity of neighbors like you to transform donated food, supplies, volunteer power, and financial contributions into daily sustenance. In the 2025/2026 fiscal year alone, your support enabled us to serve over 114,000 meals to local families, seniors, and individuals in crisis.

Because of your continued commitment, our doors remain open 365 days a year, serving hot, nutritious meals seven days a week through our Community Dining Room and Senior Meals-On-Wheels programs.

This beloved event sells out every year, so be sure to secure your tickets early! All proceeds directly support Plowshares' mission "that no one in our community go hungry."
